Title : How Can Business Leaders Protect Against Corporate Risk
Date: May 22, 2024
Today’s society places a harsh spotlight on corporate practices—and the consequences for business owners and directors can be severe. Despite your best efforts, even a single allegation can strain your finances and destroy your credibility. Both your corporate and personal assets could be at stake, especially for sole owners facing drawn-out litigation. Even worse? Your professional and commercial general liability policies won’t cover you for the risks you face as a business leader.
If you’re not managing a publicly-traded giant or a non-profit, you might think you’re safe. But the truth is: privately-held corporations face countless hidden management risks every day, most of them lurking from within. Employee and shareholder dynamics are a constant concern, from internal conflicts to workplace investigations, ownership disputes, and more.
How can you shield yourself from the threats of today’s litigious corporate environment? How can you continue to run your firm effectively without worrying about personal liability? Join PROLINK for an exclusive webinar on May 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM ET to learn about how Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability Insurance can help protect your interests. Title : Euphoria! How advances in ResTech leverage report automation for faster, more efficient, and more accurate reporting on Quant projects
Date: October 17, 2023
Reporting is often one of the most time and labor intensive parts of market research, particularly for multi-country, frequent-cadence tracking studies. In the past it’d be “all hands on deck” to populate hundreds of pages of reports and many layers of reviews to ensure accuracy, and weeks of time. With report automation, if done properly, this time can be cut down to a matter of hours or even minutes. While the time saved is exciting in itself, especially for those agency-side who would have previously done the task manually, it benefits the clients too.
-
- Suppliers can truly bring speed to insights, with fully populated, polished reports days after closing field.
- With the significantly reduced labor involved, savings can be passed along to clients who will be getting the same volume and quality of reports but now have additional budget to utilize elsewhere.
- By reducing the human element significantly, accuracy is guaranteed without spending hours checking and re-checking.
- Strategically, more time can be dedicated to the story and insights that the data is telling rather than the charting itself.
- Include a feedback loop where lessons can be learned from integrating ResTech solutions into the reporting process
This joint presentation between Ipsos and E-Tabs will include a client case study highlighting the advances and lessons learned in reporting technology that can now even take place in the Cloud and be leveraged by multiple platforms to better their charting experiences – with huge efficiency gains both for continuous and ad-hoc studies.
Role of Research in Combating Misinformation
Presented by: Frank Graves, CAIP, FCRIC, President, Ekos Research
Date and Time: Recorded Wednesday, May 3, 2023, 12 PM ET, Free – Available on Demand
A report from the Council of Canadian Academies found that disinformation and misinformation can erode trust in our institutions and distort public priorities, delaying action on critical issues such as climate change. Considerable and mounting evidence shows that misinformation has led to illness and death from unsafe interventions and products, vaccine preventable diseases, and a lack of adherence to public health measures, with the most vulnerable populations bearing the greatest burden. In fact, conversative estimates found that misinformation cost Canada’s health care system at least $300 million and resulted in at least 2800 deaths. As science and health misinformation becomes increasingly fused with ideology and identity, it contributes to deepening divisions in our society and is taking a real financial and human toll across Canada’s communities and systems.
Public Opinion Research has and will continue to play a critical role in measuring the extent of disinformation. In this webinar, Frank Graves, President of EKOS, will share details of the EKOS disinformation index and how it corresponds to vaccine acceptance and attitudes on other topics. The session will examine trends with respect to disinformation and examine some of the solutions that are aimed at addressing the problem.

Title: How to Build Brands Post-Covid by Fulfilling the Consumer’s Quest for Meaning
Date: Wednesday, May 11 – 12pm EDT
Every year, brands spend over $560 billion (and counting) to convince us to buy their products. Yet, as consumers we have become insensitive to most advertising. Join us for a complimentary webinar as we share insights from Wall Street Journal bestseller Brand Hacks. We will take you on an exploratory journey, revealing why most advertising campaigns fail and examining the personal, social, and cultural meanings that successful brands bring to consumers’ everyday lives. Most importantly, we will share simple brand hacks you can implement to create and grow brands that deliver meaning even with a limited budget.
This presentation is supported by in-depth research in consumer psychology, interviews with industry-leading marketers, and case studies of meaningful brands, both big and small.

Free Webinar: Essential Data Security Practices for Research Agencies
Recorded Monday, January 25 at 12pm EST – 60 minutes – Available on Demand
Is your research agency using encryption when collecting or exchanging confidential data? Are employees and owners aware of the best practices to avoid a data breach? Have you vetted your vendors’ security practices? Are you equipped to manage the risks of any software, mobile, and cloud-based services employed by your firm? Is all critical data securely backed-up on a regular basis? Does your firm have appropriate administrative, technological and physical controls in place? And above all, how are prepared you to handle a data security incident?
In a post-pandemic world, cyber-attacks have become increasingly frequent and sophisticated, exacerbating the existing threats faced by research agencies, as well as the financial, legal, and reputational fallout that accompanies a breach. The best protection against these cyber threats? A comprehensive data security program that minimizes risk—and the impact—of a successful cyberattack.
In this webinar from CRIC and PROLINK, a panel of data security experts will share the greatest threats faced by research agencies and the essential data security practices that all firms should have in place to mitigate them.
