Event Details

Join CRIC and CAIP Canada in Edmonton at Campio Ritchie on October 8 for Data and Drinks, an evening of insights and networking from 4–7 pm featuring two presentations.

Opening the evening, Bolu Adisa, Lead, Corporate Research at the City of Calgary, will share how integrated insights help municipal leaders make confident, evidence-based decisions. Using Calgary’s Award Winning 2025 Fall Research Results as a case study, the session will explore how diverse data sources can clarify priorities, strengthen public trust, and inform governance.

Following that, Steve Mossop of Leger will examine public opinion ahead of Alberta’s October 19 referendum, offering timely insight into how residents are thinking about the issues at stake. The discussion will highlight the role research plays in understanding voter sentiment, informing public dialogue, and interpreting shifts in public attitudes.

Networking will follow until 7 pm.
