Exclusively for leaders of agencies, the CRIC CEO Forum features interactive sessions on the most pressing leadership issues.
The 4th Annual CRIC CEO Forum is a highly anticipated event that will feature subject matter experts leading interactive sessions and offer you the opportunity to collaborate with other industry leaders on solutions to the top challenges facing our industry.
The CRIC CEO Forum will take place at the Canopy by Hilton Toronto Yorkville located at 387 Bloor Street East, Toronto, Ontario. Breakfast will be available at 8am and the CEO Forum will begin at 8:30am and wrap by 4:30pm.

Resilience in Uncertain Times (8:30am-10:15am)Â
This session will examine the impact of shifting USÂ trade policies, potential economic shocks and other challenges to our industry. Agency leaders will examine the impact of multiple scenarios that might occur and discuss how agencies must adapt their plans to be successful in the different scenarios.

This session will be led by Canadian economist, Dr. Mike Moffat. Dr. Moffat is the Founding Director of the University of Ottawa’s Missing Middle Initiative, Executive in Residence at the Smart Prosperity Institute and a professor of Business, Economics, and Public Policy at Ivey Business School. |

Fostering a strong employee culture and ensuring a strong talent pipeline (10:30am – 12:00pm)
This session will highlight what has worked and what hasn’t in creating a positive employee culture at research agencies. The session will also explore the talent pipeline. What impact has the closure of three research analyst program had on accessing talent?  How are agencies finding talent? How do we ensure our industry is attracting the best and brightest talent?

Lunch (12:00pm – 1:00pm)
AI Readiness for Research Agencies (1:00pm – 2:30pm)
This session will help agency leaders ensure their firms are taking advantage of the latest advancements in artificial intelligence. The session will examine the impact of AI on staffing including the skills staff require for the future and also opportunities to use AI to reduce manual labour. It will also explore best practices for communicating AI use to clients and it will highlight new and upcoming AI technologies that CEOs should be aware.

The session will start with a panel featuring Margaret Chapman (Narrative Research), Paul Acerbi (Ipsos) and Joel Armstrong (Dig Insights) from CRIC’s AI Committee . This will be followed by breakout groups for CEOs to discuss challenges with respect to AI with other industry leaders. |
