The Canadian Research Insights Council is pleased to welcome Margaret Brigley and Rob Berger to its Board of Directors.

Margaret Brigley is the CEO and Partner of Narrative Research (formerly Corporate Research Associates Inc.) and has worked in market research as both a qualitative and quantitative researcher for more than 25 years. As a volunteer for a former Canadian marketing research association, she took a lead role in updating its qualitative research standards among other accomplishments. She is strongly committed to the highest level of research quality and also to helping the industry evolve to meet the changing needs of businesses. As a member of the CRIC board she will help support the development of best practices and standards for research integrity, accuracy and rigor that go beyond international standards to support the successful evolution of the profession.

Rob Berger is the Managing Director of Maru/Blue, leading its online sample and data services business globally and brings over 23 years’ experience in market research. Rob is passionate about sample quality and is an industry-leading expert on best practices in online samples and insight communities. Through his thought leadership research and his involvement on the board of SampleCon (he is currently vice-chair and incoming chair for 2020), Rob will help to ensure CRIC is supporting the highest standards and best practices to promote quality sampling.

“The addition of Margaret Brigley and Rob Berger enhances the diversity and expertise of the CRIC board,” said Barry Watson, Chair CRIC. “We look forward to their help in ensuring CRIC remains at the forefront of the market research, analytics and insights profession.”
