June 4, 2026 – CRIC is pleased to recognize Dr. Scott Edward Bennett, CAIP, FCRIC, and Scott Megginson, CAIP, FRIC as CRIC Fellows.
The designation, Fellow of CRIC, is the highest honour awarded to individuals of the profession. It recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the research, analytics and insights profession in Canada that could include the development of new methods, approaches and innovations in gathering and using insights that have benefited the profession, significant service to the industry/profession, and contributions to society that have enhanced the positive perception of the industry.
“These two individuals stood out for their long-term commitment to advancing the industry in Canada,” stated Margaret Brigley, CAIP, Chair of CRIC. “CRIC is pleased to recognize them as Fellows for their significant contributions.”
CRIC will be formally recognizing the two new Fellows at its annual Awards Gala at 6pm on June 16 at the Carlu. The gala dinner is included in the registration for the CRIC 2026 Conference – Depth in the Age of Instant. Tickets for the gala can also be purchased separately for those who are unable to attend the full conference.
The two new CRIC Fellows join an exclusive list of individuals who have been recognized for their exceptional contribution to the industry.
In addition to receiving the FCRIC designation, CRIC’s partners at CAIP Canada will also be granting Fellows a life membership in CAIP Canada including the right to use the CAIP designation.
“We are pleased to honour these individuals by offering them a life membership in CAIP Canada,” stated Robert Wong, CAIP, FCRIC, Chair of CAIP Canada. “We will also seek their advice to allow us to continue to grow the CAIP designation.”
A call for nominations for Fellows is issued annually with the next call for nomination to go out in early 2027.
“We will continue encourage nominations of individuals who have made exceptional contributions to our industry,” added Anastasia Arabia, CAIP, FCRIC, Chair of the CRIC Fellows Committee. “We will grow awareness of this program so that we continue to have a strong slate of nominees.”
