Congratulations to the Winners of the Inaugural CRIC Insights Excellence Awards

June 7, 2024, Toronto. Congratulations to the Winners of the Inaugural CRIC Insights Excellence Awards.  The awards were introduced by CRIC to celebrate the greatest achievements in our industry over the past year.  The winners in the four categories were announced during the Gala Awards on June 4 as part of the CRIC H* Factor conference and are listed below.

Business Impact Award: Awarded in recognition of excellence in an insights or analytics project that results in a demonstrable business impact and/or benefit.

2024 Winner: Manulife and Environics Research for their submission: Demonstrating the return of investing in Advisors’ experience to regain Manulife’s insurance leadership position.

Excellence Behind the Scenes Award: Awarded in recognition of excellence ‘behind the scenes’, no direct client contact.  The award is for outstanding efforts in areas such as technological advancements, data collection, recruiting, data processing /analysis or other related areas that enable the completion of projects.

2024 Winner: Ipsos for their submission: Meeting Accessibility Compliance Needs in Market Research (Recruitment, Design, Deliverables)led by Daniel Dabee, Sr. Manager, Policy & Process, Dimple Sachdev, Head, Digital Transformation Office, and Emineh Babayan, Creative Director.

The Innovation and Advancement in Marketing Insights and Analytics Award: Is awarded in recognition of an initiative that showcases new techniques or tools, or uses tools and techniques in a novel way, paving the way for a new direction for insights and analytics work in the future.

2024 Winner: Nexxt Intelligence for their submission Supercharge surveys with inca, conversational AI purpose-built for marketing research for deeper insight, faster.

Public or Social Service Impact Award: Awarded in recognition of excellence in an insights or analytics project that results in a demonstrable public service impact and/or benefit.

2024 Winner: Ipsos and the Centre for International Governance Innovation for their submission Understand the prevalence of tech-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) and the impact on those who face violence online.”

CRIC also wishes to thank the five judges who has the challenging task of identifying the winners among a pool of strong nominations.  The judges for the 2024 Insights Excellence Awards were: Anastasia Arabia, Catherine Kelly, Annie Pettit, Nathaniel Stone and Eva Tolkunow.
